Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility requirements for PMRs to enroll in the NAPUS Postmaster Relief Health Plan are as follows:

• You must be a member in good standing of NAPUS. To apply for coverage:
  • Click here to download Form 1187; or
  • Click here to join NAPUS on-line
• If you are a new NAPUS member, there is a 45-day waiting period before a new member is eligible for the Plan.
• After the 45-day waiting period, new NAPUS members have 30 days to elect coverage in the Plan or must wait until the next open enrollment period.
